“No hay viento favorable si no hay destino claro” dice el refrán. Hay veces que tan sólo basta un poco de motivación para poder encontrar ese destino. Pero aún antes que esta motivación están las ganas para ello. Esto hay que buscarlo como sea en la vida.

Ser diferente puede no ser siempre fácil: muchas veces puede suponer nadar contra corriente y defender lo que parece no ser común o habitual. No obstante, uno siempre va a brillar más cuando uno se sigue a sí mismo. Y además, la riqueza humana no viene dada por ser todos iguales, sino por sumar nuestras diferencias.
To be different doesn’t mean it’s always easy: it often means swimming upstream and defending what seems not to be common or usual. Even though, we will always shine more if we follow ourselves. Moreover, human richness doesn’t come by all being the same, but by adding our differences.
Fuerzas opuestas. La gravedad, que nos hace caer, y otras que hacen que nos mantengamos en nuestro sitio. Como esta gota, quieta, sin moverse, resistiendo a la gravedad. Sin caer.
Opposing forces. Gravity, which makes us fall down, and others that make us stay at our place. Like this waterdrop, still, without moving, resisting to gravity. Without falling down.
¿Qué sería de este mundo si no protegiéramos lo que es delicado y débil? ¿Qué es lo que quedaría?

Contrastes de vida, esta hoja ya en el suelo, y cargada de belleza, y el carrito con el bebé que hay delante. Vida y muerte, ambas separadas unos metros. Me recuerda una frase de Steve Jobs, en la que decía que todo lo que ha conseguido, fue por plantearse la muerte misma, dándole la fuerza necesaria para luchar por sus sueños.
Contasts in life, this leaf fallen on the floor, and the baby ahead. Life and death, both separated just a few meters. It reminds me of something that Steve Jobs said, that all what he did in life was due to thinkinf of death, giving him all the strenght to fight for his dreams.
